International Day for the against Cancer

     Scientific Symposium was held on the occasion of (the International Day Against Cancer) on Thursday, 10.02.2011 in the section of Internal Medicine of the College within the Platform’s activities and units of continuing education in our college for the second semester of the current academic year 2010-2011. Was attended by Mr. Dean’s aides and a number of Heads of branches and makers of scientific and teaching staff, administrative and technical college and a number of students in the initial stages.

 

 

 
       The seminar included a lecture by Mr. Dean (a. M. D. Shafiq Abdul Razzaq al-Hassan). And presentation of educational scientific laboratory for the identification of the global map of the rates of injury and loss, various forms of cancerous tumors both types of benign and malignant in various age groups in male and female humans, and to identify the causative gene, which is 10%, and the environmental factor which is 90% such as pollution and environmental exposure to radiation and chemicals, smoking, alcohol and obesity and the incidence of infectious diseases and transition, and to identify ways of preventing infection by following the healthy habits such as eating fruit and vegetables and exercise has seen the symposium scientific discussions took place between attendance and minutes of the seminar. He presented the latest statistics and updates to the injuries of human and veterinary tumors at the local level and the Arab world.
