The College of Veterinary Medicine held a workshop entitled (Measuring Research and Development in Iraq for the year 2018) in which the assistant teacher, Noor Thaer, taught at the Microbiology Branch.
The workshop aims to clarify the contents of the university presidency book, Department of Scientific Affairs, to explain to it the full tables of research and development data, which include academic departments, research formations and graduate units.
The workshop, which detailed explanation on the mechanism of work on research and development measurement forms that includes statistical information on scientific research in the formations of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and other ministries in Iraq.
The form included entering the information of the researcher and the participating researchers in addition to everyone who participated in the research in addition to the main researcher from technicians and administrators, as well as classifying scientific research into (basic, applied, experimental) in addition to a paragraph for the bodies that finance the research project (government, private sector) , As well as the expenses necessary to complete the research, which include operating expenses and expenses.
Among the lecturer that the program offers the possibility of handling errors by providing it with data, and that the program has the advantage of providing data on the numbers of scientific research in Iraqi universities and according to scientific, human and social specialties, and it provides a clear vision of research activity and the percentage of spending on scientific research in countries.
